-California is experiencing our driest year on record, and Kern County is a top county hurting because of the drought.
-Together, let’s make a difference by pledging to conserve.
-Visit the Information Booth to sign up and receive a list of practical ways we can daily conserve.

-Recruiting Security & Parking Volunteers:
-If you have law-enforcement, correctional, or security background, we need you! Please visit the Information Booth.

-Passionate Hearts:
-Christ-centered, ten-month support group for women wounded by childhood abuse (sexual abuse), begins in September.
-If you are interested, please fill out a Passionate Hearts Response Card found at the Information Booth and drop it in the Chatterbox in the foyer.

-Looking for Contractors!:
-We are doing some remodeling on our grounds and are looking for contractors who would like to help!
-If you are interested, please fill out a Response Card and write “Contractor” on it.

-Third Thursday Prayer Team:
-VBF has partnered with 40 other church to pray over our community. Our day of prayer is the third Thursday of every month.
-If you would like to join this prayer team, please visit the table in the foyer.

-MOPS: Mother’s of Preschoolers
-Now accepting registration forms from mothers with children ages 0-5 years old, who would love to support the area of mothering.
-MOPS exists to encourage, equip, and develop every mother.

-Food Pantry:
-If you would like to help the food pantry with donations for the needy, please pick up a grocery bag from the grocery cart on the patio & return the purchased items to the same area.

-Man Cave Is Back!: Saturday, Sept. 6, 9 am, Station 3:16
-Summer break is now over, and it’s time to return to Man Cave!
