-Couple’s Retreat: February 13-15, 2015
-Married couples, join us at the beautiful Hyatt Regency hotel on Valentine’s Day weekend for a retreat getaway.
-The cost is $275 per couple. Pick up a brochure at The Hub for additional registration.

-Angel Tree:
-If you would like to purchase a gift for a child in need this Christmas season, please visit the trees in the lobby, take a gift to purchase, and bring back by December 10.
-Christmas Toy Giveaway:
-If your family is in need this holiday season, we invite you to join us for our toy give-away on Saturday, December 13, at 12 pm, in the main sanctuary.
-You must sign up in the foyer to ensure we have enough gifts for the children.
-Paying it Forward:
-We encourage everyone to go out and continually bless those in Bakersfield by “paying it forward.”
-We have available for you our “Have a Nice Day Cards” with basic VBF information on them. They are available at the HUB.
-Santa 5K Run & Kids 1K Elf Run:
-Valley Schools will be having a 5K & 1K on Sunday, December 7, at 2:30 pm, at the Park at Riverwalk.
-Cost is $25 for the 5k and $5 for the 1k (for children 10 and under only).
-Proceeds benefit the Wounded Heroes and Valley Schools.
