What We Believe

We are a Bible based, Spirit led, Christ centered Church committed to love, active faith, and continual growth. We believe this growth happens as we foster our relationship with God and allow His Word and the Holy Spirit to shape every area of our lives. Our desire at VBF is to help people develop a vibrant and living relationship with Jesus. We believe the Bible is the foundation for how we live, the Holy Spirit leads and empowers us, and Jesus remains at the center of everything we do. We are committed to creating an environment where people can grow in their knowledge of God, build meaningful relationships, and experience genuine Christian community. We believe faith is meant to be lived out through loving people, serving others, and putting what we believe into action.
Just as the early Church in the book of Acts reached beyond its walls and impacted the world through the love and presence of God, we believe the Church is called to do the same today. Our methods may not always look traditional, but our foundation remains unchanged. We want to be a Church that knows Jesus, follows the leading of the Holy Spirit, lives out the truth of Scripture, and continually grows in our relationship with God and one another.
